The study addressed the need to understand how transformational managerial practices are associated with the work environment in municipal management. The objective was to determine the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational climate among workers of a District Municipality in Tarma, Junín. The research followed a quantitative, basic, correlational, non-experimental, and cross-sectional design. A census sample of 60 workers was surveyed using two 20-item Likert-type questionnaires. The instruments were validated by five experts and showed high reliability through Cronbach's alpha: 0.971 for transformational leadership and 0.978 for organizational climate. The descriptive results showed a predominance of a good level of transformational leadership (51.67%) and a regular level of organizational climate (55.00%). The Kolmogorov-Smirnov test justified the use of Spearman's rho, revealing a high and significant positive correlation between the variables (ρ = 0.814; p < 0.001). It is concluded that transformational leadership is a relevant factor for strengthening communication, labor relations, reward perception, and managerial styles in the municipality studied.
