Job performance and its association with productivity in a micro and small enterprise (MSE) in San Marcos, Huari, Áncash, 2025

This research was framed within SDG No. 8 "Decent work and economic growth" / Management of Organizations, with the purpose of identifying the association between job performance and productivity among the employees of a micro and small enterprise (MSE) in San Marcos, Huari, Áncash, 2025. The methodological approach was quantitative, applied in type, with a non-experimental, cross-sectional design and correlational scope, using a census population and sample of 34 employees, who were administered a survey technique through 2 questionnaires with content validity (expert judgment) and reliability determined through Cronbach's Alpha. The results showed a Spearman's rho association of 0.802 (p < .001) between job performance and productivity; 0.853 between competence and productivity; 0.655 between professional skill and productivity; 0.764 between motivation and productivity; and 0.701 between continuous training and productivity among the employees of the MSE under study. It was concluded that job performance is associated significantly and highly positively with employee productivity, which supports the acceptance of the general hypothesis of association between both variables in the MSE studied.
