The objective was to determine the influence of rice powder replacing corn, on chicken production. 192 chickens of the Cobb line of 21 days of age were used, distributed in 12 pens, corresponding to three treatments with four repetitions; the replacement levels of corn by rice powder were 0, 5 and 10%, the same that represented treatments T0, T1 and T2 respectively. Each treatment had 64 chickens and each repetition 16. Weight gain, feed intake, feed conversion and carcass yield were evaluated. The average weight increase/bird in T0 was 1.65 in T1 equal to 1.67kg and T2 reached 1.62 kg. Food consumption, treatments T0, T1 and T2 achieved values of 3.29 kg; 3.20kg and 3.14kg respectively. The average feed conversion in treatments T0, T1 and T2 was 1.99; 1.92 and 1.94. The carcass yield was 70.82%; 70.72% and 72.94% for T0, T1 and T2 respectively. The inclusion of powder up to 10% in replacement of corn in the diet of broiler chickens did not affect the productive behavior of the birds
